Greetings all,
Any Bicycle riders out there interested in forming a team for Ragbrai this July?
For those who don't know, Ragbrai is a 1 week, 460 mile bike ride through Iowa July 19th through the 25th.
It starts on the western edge in Sioux City, and finishes in the the Quad cities in Davenport, with stops in small town each night.
I talked to a few people about it and it is supposed to be a LOT of fun.
Deets below:

I did some research on the interwebs, and found a couple of breweries along the second half of the route:

If anyone is interested, let me know, and I'll put together the team.

Also, I mountain bike a lot (when the weather is agreeable) around the Warrenville/Aurora/Naperville/Wheaton and surrounding areas during the Spring, summer and fall, so if any fellow MTBers out there want to get together on a weekend morning for a spin, let me know. We can hit up a couple breweries along a trail and/or finish up the ride with a brew day?

Don't think I could do a week of riding but I pulled my Marin out this past fall and started riding again. It had been a half dozen years or so. I would be up for a Saturday getting some trails in.

I'm possibly up for some weekend rides.

I'm not ready for the RagBrai. I used to do the Cowalunga (190 miles over 3 days) but it's been a few years and I need to get back in shape.

I did the Ragbrai twice back in my twenties, which was many moons ago. It is a lot of miles, but also a lot of fun. I now might be up for a weekend ride, but not big tours anymore. Glad to hear Ragbrai is still happening.
